The Sports Business Conference at Villanova University is meant to give students the opportunity to create a foundational network that puts them on their personalized path within the sports business community. The conference caters to anyone interested in the sports industry, whether you're a student, a recent graduate, or a professional looking to broaden your horizons. Our panels and keynote speakers feature some of the biggest names in sports, including leaders in sports media, sales, marketing, operations, and analytics who are willing to share their journeys and advice with the next generation. As an attendee, you will also have the chance to network with fellow attendees and industry professionals, making valuable connections that could lead to internships or job opportunities. About Us
Business in Entertainment Society
The Business in Entertainment Society (BiES) was created to connect Villanova students to the sports and entertainment industry by providing opportunities to connect with professionals and gain career knowledge. BiES hosts a variety of guest speakers each semester to expose students to a number of different career paths and is proud to be a co-host of VSBC.
Sports Analytics Club
​The Villanova Sports Analytics Club was founded to bring together the community of people who share a passion for the analysis of sports. We aim to provide an inclusive environment for Villanova students who love to talk about sports. The club holds weekly meetings, hosts debates, participates in competitions, hosts panels consisting of industry professionals, and publishes articles on current issues in sports. All our members are provided the resources and support needed to achieve their goals in the sports analytics field. We are a proud co-host of VSBC.
O’Donnell Center for Professional Development
The Charlotte and James V. O’Donnell ’63 Center for Professional Development provides professional development activities that enrich your academic experience with insights and experiences that support your professional goals. VSB’s O’Donnell Center collaborates with VSB academic departments and , student business societies, the Villanova Career Center, and other campus offices to sponsor, co-sponsor and/or provide support to more than 100 career events each academic year. The programs are designed to help business students gather information and contacts that will lead to well-suited academic and career path decisions.
